A Hidden Waterfall and a Mountaintop Ceremony

Planning included: My location research focused on hidden gems for privacy, beautiful scenery, and short drives. I brought it together with permit guidance, vendor referrals, and a custom timeline, then photographed their four hour experience from getting ready through the last light.

Getting ready began at 3:00 PM, before photography coverage.

  1. The details & finishing touches

Photography begins with vow books, rings, the dress, and the final moments of getting ready.

  2. A first look

A moment together before heading into the forest.

  3. Off to a hidden waterfall

A short drive into one of Mount Hood's mossy forest hideaways.

  4. Waterfall wandering

A forest walk, portraits beside the falls, and a spot they had entirely to themselves that afternoon.

  5. Head up the mountain

Trading the forest canopy for open skies and mountain views.

  6. A golden hour ceremony

Vows with Mount Hood behind them and the evening light settling in.

  7. Mountain exploring & sunset

Soaking up sunset until last light before heading to dinner at a brewery. Photography coverage ended at 8 PM.
